Fabrication

Once you've finalized your design you must now get it made. Some services will make your parts for you but if you choose to you can produce these parts yourself.

Sending the Designs

Once you've finished prototyping and are ready to get tour parts made you can follow these steps. First, research a fabrication company(pcbway, CNC Madness, SendCutSend, etc.) and send them files of all our parts. Once you've received a quote, sometimes you can bargain for a price but most of the time the price will be set in stone.

The Home Stretch

Once you've reached this part you're at the home stretch! check your email periodically if the fabricator needs more information regarding your parts. All you can do is wait for your parts but you can also set goals for your next version in the meantime.

Putting it Together

This part may be nerve-wracking because you're dealing with moderately expensive parts but remember to measure twice and cut once. If you've followed all of these steps you could have a working bot at the end! This journey was an emotional rollercoaster of deadlines and part failures but I got there at the end and I'm very happy about how this turned out.
